Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Gender inequality remains a significant challenge in many parts of Nigeria, including Gombe Central LGA in Gombe State. Despite progress in gender empowerment initiatives, women and girls in the region continue to face disparities in education, employment, and health.
